Terms and Conditions

By booking and participating in guitar tutoring sessions with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Services Provided
James Park Music offers private, in-home guitar tutoring at the student’s location. Our sessions are designed to provide personalized instruction tailored to each student’s skill level and goals.

2. Scheduling and Cancellations
Scheduling: Sessions are scheduled by appointment via our website's booking calendar.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session to avoid a cancellation fee. If the teacher’s schedule allows and the cancellation is discussed in advance, rescheduling the lesson for another agreed-upon time may be possible. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the forfeiture of the lesson.

3. Payment
Payments can be made via credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on our website.
Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except in cases of instructor cancellation or other extenuating circumstances.

4. Student’s Responsibilities
Space: The student is responsible for providing a suitable space for the lesson, including a quiet environment and adequate lighting.
Equipment: The student should have their own guitar and any necessary accessories. If any specific equipment or materials are required, they will be communicated prior to the lesson.

5. Code of Conduct
Behavior: Students are expected to exhibit respectful behavior during sessions. Disruptive behavior may result in termination of the tutoring agreement.
Property: The student’s property and home should be respected. Any damages to property caused by the tutor will be addressed promptly.

6. Liability
James Park Music is not responsible for any injuries or damages that occur during the tutoring sessions. Students participate at their own risk, and the tutor is responsible for their own safety and well-being while at the student’s home.

7. Privacy Policy
Your personal information is confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to you in advance of their effective date.
